Monthly fees are due by the 10th of the month, or there will be a $15 late fee added.

Membership Fees effective August 1, 2010

10 & under

$45 month
with the required sale of one book of raffle tickets

11 & over

$50 month
with the required sale of one book of raffle tickets

If a swimmer joins after the raffle ticket drive (December or later), fees are $70/$75 per month, until completion of the raffle ticket fundraiser, the following Fall.

Payable the first time a swimmer joins KKW. Athletes inactive for more than one year will need to pay this fee, again.

In addition...

  • Every active swimmer on the team in the Fall (any month during September-November) is required to sell at least one (1) raffle ticket book, and will be billed for unsold tickets.  This fundraiser will go towards coaches’ wages, and expenses associated with running the team.

Pre-Competitive Squad
Open to all ages
(Tues/Wed/Thurs, 4:45-6:00 pm)
$40 month
(fundraising requirements optional)

 

Swimmers in the Pre-Competitive Squad will continue to master their technique and develop fitness until they chose to join the competition team by opting to practice at a different time and/or participating in a time trial or swim meet.  In addition:

 

  • Swimmers must be six years old, should have completed Level 3 in swim lessons, or be able to demonstrate freestyle and backstroke, and good listening skills.
  • A swimmer may stay in Pre-Comp for two years from the date of joining, and then must join the competitive squad, although they will not be required to enter races.
  • Members of Pre-Comp must be registered with USA Swimming.
  • Members of Pre-Comp will not be billed the start-up fee of $125 until they join the competition squad.
  • Current members of KKW are not eligible for this squad.  In addition, once any swimmer has participated with the competition squad, in practice or a meet, they are ineligible for Pre-Comp.
  • Families are encouraged to participate in the Raffle Book sales in the Fall to help defray their fees when their swimmer decides to join the competition squad.
  • The coaching staff reserves the right to limit the number of available slots in this squad, to maximize coach/swimmer ratio.
